If you’re considering having new double-glazed windows you may also be thinking about window dressing. There are plenty of choices out there, you could have traditional curtains, roller blinds, roman blinds, or maybe Venetian blinds, the choice can seem endless.

But there is one more choice that you may not have thought of, or may not even know exists, and that’s integrated blinds. If you’ve never heard of them, they have a similar look to Venetian blinds with much slimmer slats, but the great thing about them is that they are sandwiched between the glass panels of your double glazing.

The blinds can be operated by a slide on the frame of your window and can still be opened and closed as traditional Venetian blinds, and of course, pulled up or down. If you’re someone who likes technology these blinds are available with a remote control which means they can be electronically operated from the comfort of your chair.

Not only are these blinds great for windows, but they really come into their own if you have bifold or sliding doors. No more getting the blinds caught in the hinges of your doors, no more unattractive string cords getting in the way, or worse, causing a hazard to young children or pets.

On top of all the other advantages, the blinds never need cleaning because they are sealed inside the glass where dust and grime can’t reach. It also means that you can clean your windows or doors without having to work around or remove any window dressing.

Overall, they are neat, stylish, and practical. Their streamlined appearance would suit almost any home, giving you warmth, privacy and blocking out sunlight when required with no maintenance needed.

If you’d like to see them in action, we’d love to see you in our Brentwood showroom to demonstrate their effectiveness.
